Donations and Giving
"Vision is not seeing things as they are, but as they will be!"
Good Hope Hospital is a nonprofit institution funded by fees for services and donations. Donations to the hospital are tax-deductible and contribute directly to the health care of Harnett County residents.
Why donate to GHH?
Simply stated, because nonprofit hospitals routinely take on the health challenges that will directly benefit the communities they serve. Be assured that your donation to Good Hope Hospital will directly benefit the thousands of people who depend on GHH for care each year.
Matching Gifts
Some companies offer matching funds when you make a donation to Good Hope Hospital, usually resulting in a doubling of your contribution. Please check with your employer to see if your employer will match your contribution.
Memorials and Honoraria
You may designate your gift in memory or in honor of a special person. The hospital will notify the person or family of the donation, and recognize your contribution publicly unless you request anonymity.
Gifts for Specific Programs or Equipment
You may wish to direct your gift to support one of the hospital's specific projects – facility replacement, advertising, expanded emergency care, physician recruitment, hospital renovation, indigent care, etc.
General Support
You can make a donation for unrestricted support of the hospital. With these gifts we can respond more rapidly to healthcare or crisis needs in the delivery of rural health care.
Planned Giving
Deferred gifts (bequests, life insurance, qualified retirement plans, real estate or similar assets) allow you to provide a larger legacy than might be possible through cash donations made during your lifetime. For information on arranging this type of donation, contact Denise Smith, CFO at (910) 897-6151, Ext. 301, or [email protected].
